During an incident, who is responsible for safety oversight in the ICS?

The Safety Officer is specifically tasked with ensuring the safety of all personnel involved in an incident. In the Incident Command System (ICS), this role is critical as it focuses on identifying and mitigating hazards, monitoring conditions that could affect safety, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
